Healing Chronic & Complex Wounds

A wound is considered chronic when it does not progress through the normal stages of healing within an expected timeframe, often due to circulation issues, pressure, infection, diabetes, or prior radiation. Left untreated, these wounds can lead to pain, limited mobility, and higher risk of hospitalization. Our clinic focuses on root-cause evaluation and a coordinated plan to help your wound close safely and stay closed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at pikespeakhbot@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy delivers 100% oxygen at increased atmospheric pressure to improve oxygen delivery to tissues, support new blood vessel growth, and enhance the body’s natural healing processes. It is used for specific conditions when clinically appropriate.

Healing time varies by diagnosis, circulation, infection status, and home-care adherence. Many patients see measurable improvement within weeks once a consistent plan is in place.

Not always. Coverage and requirements differ by insurance. Call us and our team will help you confirm what’s needed.

We use techniques to maximize comfort. Some debridements may cause brief discomfort; your clinician will discuss options to keep you comfortable.

Follow your dressing instructions, protect the area from pressure or friction, keep blood sugar controlled if you have diabetes, and maintain good nutrition and hydration. We’ll give you specific, written instructions.
